Building curbs for a shower pan out of concrete with the pvc pan liner coming up outside the door
Picture
Building a shower pan, old school, here you can see the PVC pan liner wraping up the wall behind the concrete board, next will be the concrete pour...
Picture
this cut away display shower pan shows how my pans are built up, showing pvc pan liner, concrete curbs with NO lumber, elastomeric paint on membrane...etc
Picture
my shower seats slope inwards to give plenty of room for your feet and are constructed from concrete/foams build ups or WEDI panels, either way no chance of leaks because the waterproofing is behind them...

very custom kitchen backsplash tile job...showing metal edge
Picture

Picture
I didnt do this, but WOW! its in Italy...
Picture
showing two different storage areas, a tile shelf, and a metal basket holder... both very functional and easy to maintain.
Picture
stone shower pans can be site honed so they feel smooth on your feet...
Picture
this is what typical edges of stone floor tile look like when installed...
Picture
this is what they CAN look like, if one takes the time to round over all edges prior to the install, it makes a nicer finished floor.
Picture
this close up shows a large tile that has a rounded over or eased edge, as opposed to a sharp square edge (called rectified). when shoppiong for tile a rounded over smooth edge is always a must for me as it gives a better feeling floor to walk on and looks better.
Picture
notice the stone crown molding in this high end tub surround...
Picture
custom painted edges on tile, a service i provide, thus custom bullnose is not a problem...
Picture
notice how the cut tile turns the corner
Picture
this pattern was cut on a water jet. any shape is possible.

bench seat is INSIDE the existing waterproofing of the shower ---   no leaks ever !!!!!!!!!!!  no lumber , no fasteners !!!!!

Picture
a simple tub face...notice how nicely the tiles seem to fit, all 1/2 and wholes...but if you look closely you will see there not.
